The Heart of Texas Region Citizen Corps Program provides a route for citizens to become involved with local emergency response and management officials to prepare their communities to become safer. Programs in Citizen Corps include Neighborhood Watch, Community Emergency Response Teams, Medical Reserve Corps, Volunteers in Police Service, and Fire Corps.
