Chapter 6: Media Galleries
This chapter discusses using media galleries on the
HOT-Ready website.
Media galleries are also heavily used in the HOT-Ready
site. We use media galleries primarily
for posting documents and images for review prior to a meeting. We also post other information for all
citizens, emergency managers and responders to use.
There are many different file types supported by our site,
including Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, images, and more. If you have trouble opening a media upload,
make sure that you have the appropriate program to read the file.
You can browse through the different galleries by selecting
them on the left-hand side of the screen.
The files in gallery will be displayed on the right side of the
page. Click the image above the file to
go to the media download page. The file
will download to your computer once you click the “Download” link.
