Chapter 9: Searching, Sorting and Filtering
Due to the nature of this site and the massive amount of information that it contains, a method to easily find data is a necessity. Therefore, we have implemented several methods of quickly finding data.
Searching
At the top-right of each page there is a search field that will allow users to search for content within the site. This search field acts just as any search engine, just enter what you want to find and press the "Enter" key on your keyboard.
Sorting and Filtering
Within blogs and forums, users can click the "Sorting and filtering" link above the posts to narrow down the information shown on the page. If you notice that there is information that might be missing from a page, clear the sorting and filtering section to make the content reappear.
Tags
Tags are key words that the post author defines when writing the post. On each page, there is a section of Tags on the right side of the page. By clicking the tag word, the site will search through all posts with the selected tag word.
