Chapter 4: Using Forums
This chapter discusses using forums on the HOT-Ready
website.
There are several forums on the HOT-Ready site. These forums are mostly a part of the
Professional Emergency Management and Response section of the website. Forums are similar in operation to
Conversations. Click the subject of the
posting to read its contents, or click the “Write a New Post” link to add a
post of your own. You can also click the
“Forum Subscriptions” link to request email updates from the website. When subscribing to forums, you will be given
the option of which forums you would like to subscribe to. You can also search, sort, or filter the
information shown on the screen by using a variety of methods. These methods are described in detail in
Chapter 8.
